While our industry remains unregulated, this means that almost anyone can profess to be an “expert” in the field, which leads to many installs being left in a less than desirable state.

Due to this we sadly receive calls and emails from people who have been left in a less than desirable state after investing their savings in their dream project, only to find the technology within it doesn’t work as expected. Our Process

We have a simple 5 step process approach to helping clients with supporting their installations…

  1. Listening to your issues and why you need us to take over – this includes us understanding exactly what the issues are and why you feel you need a new Control4 dealer to take over your system. We’re not looking for blame here and more to get a feel for things.
  2. Gathering System Information – We would ask you to take some photos of your system, including sending us any system documentation you may have about your system. This may include changing us to your dealer of record on the Control4 customer portal so we can remotely look at your system.
  3. Outlining Our Costs – After we have a better understanding of your system we would look to provide you with an initial estimate of the work associated with taking over your system and resolving the issues you have.
  4. Setting Expectations – While we’re superb at what we do we can’t work miracles and we won’t tell you otherwise. We will always be as transparent and open with you about the state of your system, what needs doing, how long it’ll take and what other implications the work may have.
  5. Working together for the long term – Once your system has been added to our portfolio of client systems, we have been to site, resolved any initial issues you’ve experienced and we have ensured your system is up to our exacting standards we’ll offer you the opportunity to be put on one of our aftercare packages.

When we do take over work we all too often see poorly maintained systems from so-called “experts” that have left customers with out-of-date software, no documentation and poor levels of workmanship throughout the installation. This makes our job difficult and adds unnecessary cost to you.

We equally appreciate that after investing many thousands of pounds into your Control4 system you don’t necessarily want to spend more money, especially when you’re likely already sensitive to what you’ve spent with your old dealer. That’s why when we look to put issues right we’ll always give you an estimate on what it’ll cost, how long it’ll take, what other work may need doing as a result of what we find and what other recommended low-priority work we suggest doing to get things to a straight edge. This ensures a transparent and honest approach for all involved.

If you have an existing Control4 system you that would like to upgrade or make programming changes to, we are here to help. We like to ensure customer systems are keep upto date with the latest trends and technologies that go into smart homes after all you’ve already made a good investment into the technology why not make the most of it. As a company, we think about support from the moment we sit down with a client as we know that by working with technology at some point no matter how well we design a system it’ll have a hiccup. Whether it be the lounge Sky box locking up, you’ve forgotten a password or just need some friendly guidance, we’ll be here supporting you long after your project completes or your old dealer is out of business.

Depending on the level of support you need we can offer services to proactively monitor your smart home system and fix little issues as they arise. We can also proactively notify you of any internet outages that may affect your WiFi along with reduced costs for engineer time, upgrade and priority response times.
